Kiwisport - Touch

On Wednesday we were attended to go touch, all of a sudden I heard a few people said that it was our last session of touch. What we did for our touch game was something amazing and really fun the game was similar to capture that flag but the flag was replace with the ball. So the first thing to prepare for our game is to get a belt so we can stick the tag beside our hips, to prepare our self was to put us into 2 team 1 team was the white and the second team it the green team so I was chosen to be in the green team. So the second thing to prepare is to stretch more and rule of game is not get the other get your tag off. So when we finish we got the opportunity to say thank you for having with us and train us how to play touch.

Future Aspirations

Today some wonderful visitor came to our school. Their names were Andrew Patterson who was our host and one was Anthony Samuel who was a TV entertainer and Paula Fakalata who an Attitude presenter and but no least is Amelia Unufe who works for Fashion designer. Anthony Samuel said something not to determinate your future he said "The past does not determinate your future" that mean like in the past you wanting to have a fight with someone but that does not mean in the future when you're a bit older it does not
mean you can be a bully.

Manaiakalani

I woke up excitedly knowing today was the day of the film festival, I rushed to the kitchen and ate all my weet-bix in less than one minutes. I then realised I had forgotten to get my gold coin, I consider to myself that this day would be the day to display our movie. I opened my front door and my brother rushed outside and started walked to school.

Our class was attended to go to the cinemas to watch the Manaiakalani cluster movies to support for what they have being doing. I gripped on the elevator and I assumed that I have butterflies in my stomach. When we arrived at the movie I felt that the butterfly flow out of my stomach. Suddenly Anisha gripped to my and gave me fright “Anisha why are you holding my hand” I said  “because I’m afraid of the dark” said Anisha in a frightened way. Subsequently I was pondering at who I would sit next to during the movie, I choose to sit with Anisha and Ramona Del  my two best friends. When I get to sit next to my friend I got a fright from a girl name Paulita that appeared out of no where on the screen. I contened that our film would be first. So it did came up first when Manaiakalani cluster finish all their movie we back to school.

When we go to our class Miss Clark told us to start commenting on people film festival movie. “Class 3 what was your favorite movie?” so I put my hands nice and high  and said “ Bowl cut”  “why is it you favorite movie” said Miss Clark “ cause it so funny and it put a smile on my face” said I.

Presentation

Uniform

I am strongly for a uniform at Pt England School! Because it shows people that our school is ‘striving to succeed’ in many ways by being a modest person and showing the little ones the way of being kind. The second reason we should have uniforms at this marvelous school because it shows how clean and healthy we are. What reasons do we wear our school uniform? Well whenever we attend for a trip we might lose one of our student, if they are in mufti then they might be a lot of people in mufti too, so that one reason that we wear our uniforms.

At Pt England School when people see us wearing our school uniform, they say that we look really smart in our uniform . Wearing uniforms to school it is a great chance to look smart and healthy it makes you look tidy not messy. When visitor comes to visit our school our ambassadors need to look really nice and smart , ambassadors take each group to different classes to see how we work and some even report on how our school uniform makes us look smart wearing our uniform and nice .

Wearing school uniforms help to support the people in our community, they could even ask us a question like do we know were the reserve is or shops and we could be very helpful to others and if we could get something in return

At our school there will be no judgements on our uniforms because we all are wearing the same uniform at our school. Some people at our school wear their uniforms the wrong way for example some student wears their jacket on their waste, a korero that Mr burt taught us called is ‘Wear it with pride’ so that just means to wear your uniform with care and not to wear your uniform the wrong way.

Life Education Trust

Last week class 3 went to a tour at the life Education caravan. The topic we were learning about
drug and alcohol the purpose of drugs can simply show as anything that one puts into their body that is healthy or water with oxygen and changes the how the works. The purpose of alcohol can slowly send the messages to your thinking so slowly that you talk slowly that think you drunk or your showing of.

As we walked inside a lady name Lynn introduce herself to me and my class she then told us to sit in row of three or four. When we were ready to listen she told us so many things about drug she then said “Drugs are not good for you because it can change everything in you body and mostly your heart and you brain”. As she was talking she showed us some movies about people taking drugs and how their lives started to change.

People, who use to choose drugs are a lot of ordinary every reason. Nobody never set to become a drug addict. Some may be looking for something to risky to do and have an expectation for taking drug or alcohol is a harmless way to get some kindness of mood change or body. Drug taking can be “dressed-up” to be like something that not and presented as joy or even smarter that something cool and popular like teenagers. Some may believe the drug are like medicine or some people just drug to be cool or drug are really harmless.

When Lynn finnish and ask us that time with then we got to see Harold and sang to us with a karaoke and we sang with him. What enjoy about it was to see Harold and class was learning about drug and alcohol and other that are bad.

The life Education session were extremely valuable because we get to learn about not to take bad stuff like drug and alcohol and choosing our own decision. Well what Lynn really change me how we can’t drink alcohol or drugs.
